I’ve always had an interest in hair and makeup. I started playing with makeup at a young age, and my mom had to keep me away from her Avon samples! I was always the person everyone turned to for both hair and makeup amongst my friends and immediate family (and I still am!). This became a lifelong dream that was admittedly put on hold a few times – but I have finally achieved it, thanks to QC!

QC Makeup Academy has embraced the online modality that we all need in our lives. We all have busy lives; many of us have full-time jobs as well. This modality allows us to learn and practice at a pace that is comfortable. I love that QC gives us two years to complete the courses. And, of course, the main benefit is the wonderful tutors who are there to help us!

I’ve graduated from two courses thus far with QC: The Master Makeup Artistry and Skincare programs. I am working on the Hairstyling Course at the moment, and plan on taking Pro Makeup Workshop and Global Beauty Workshop in the future as well. My QC education has given me a solid foundation to build upon, and I may even go for a full cosmetology license soon! I’m able to work at something that makes me truly happy. I am a creative person, and this has allowed me to use those talents – while in the process, making someone beautiful! I’ve since worked with a boudoir photographer and I hope to expand this out in my new adoptive state of Virginia. My hope is to grow my business and provide bridal, photoshoot, and special occasion looks as well.
