In case you haven’t heard already, QC Makeup Academy has an awesome sweepstakes going on! All students, old and new, can enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win a free trip to New York City. You’ll get to spend a few days in the Big Apple, AND you’ll attend a private makeup lesson with QC tutor and celebrity makeup artist Nathan Johnson!
Makeup artists of any skill level can enter to win! This trip will help build your makeup skills, wherever you need them! Perhaps you just started your journey in makeup artistry—Nathan will help you learn the fundamentals and give tips on how to grow as a successful MUA. Or if you’re an experienced makeup artist, Nathan will teach you advanced skills and tips he’s picked up over his 18 years in the makeup industry!
How to Enter the Sweepstakes
To enter the sweepstakes, fill out the entry form here with your name, student number, and email. To make it more fun, you’ll be asked to write a few sentences on why you want to win, and a link to a makeup look that inspires you!
How to Gain More Entry Points
There are many ways you can gain entries to increase your chance of winning this amazing sweepstakes! Gain up to 28 entries by completing the tasks below. Certain tasks– such as tweeting to us and tagging us in inspirational posts– can be completed daily, helping you gain additional points every day! So the sooner you enroll, the more time you have to gain extra sweepstakes entries.
- Refer Your Friends!
- Send a unique URL to your friends and encourage them to enroll and enter! When they enter the sweepstakes, you gain extra points!
- Complete an Assignment
- Complete an assignment in any of your makeup courses to gain five additional entries! Simply click “enter” once you’ve submitted your assignment on the Online Student Center.
- Tweet About the Giveaway
- Tweet about the Sweepstakes and you’ll receive one additional entry point. You can tweet to us every day until February 28th, and you’ll gain one entry point every day! You can choose to click the tweet button on the entry form, or copy and paste your own tweet into the form to submit.
- Leave a blog post comment
- Write a comment on Nathan’s blog “Nathan’s Guide to Working as a Celebrity Makeup Artist” to gain 4 entry points! Remember to check off “I Commented” on the entry form after!
- Show Us Your Inspiration
- Use the hashtag #QCGoesToNYC to tag us in makeup looks that inspire you, or looks that you’ve created on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. You can tag us daily, and you’ll earn one additional point each day you do! Remember to click “Enter” on the entry form once you’ve tagged us!
