I have always loved art, makeup, and SFX designs. But my father’s side of the family constantly pushed me to get a “real” career. So, I wound up getting an Architecture Bachelor Degree. But then I got pregnant and my husband and I decided it was best for me to stay at home. I’d spend my mornings alone with not much to do, so I started watching a lot of YouTube videos.

After finding out that there’s a BIG difference between social media makeup and real-world makeup, I decided to look for a school to get professionally trained. That’s how I found out about QC Makeup Academy and started looking into their courses. When I found out they had a Special FX Makeup Course, I was SOLD! All my childhood dreams came back and I knew that I wanted to make a career out of this.

QC Makeup Academy offers so many things you simply can’t find anywhere else. You get a full 2 years to complete your course while working at your own pace. When you graduate, you get a real, internationally-recognized certification. It was important to me that I’d be able to work anywhere if I wanted to. The fact that QC is an international school with BBB accreditation was also a huge selling point for me, too. When I started my journey, I only really knew about social media makeup. Now I use social media to teach the world about real-world makeup. I currently have over 266k followers on TikTok and around 17k followers on YouTube. I love posting makeup looks, character creations, mini-tutorials, SFX designs, etc. My makeup career has just started and I can’t wait to see what comes in the future!
