Tell us about yourself!

My name is Harleen Kaur. I’m married, have a 4-year-old son, and live in Norway. In the past, I’ve served both the aviation industry and sales industry. Now I’m an Entrepreneur and own my own company, LOOKSSTUDIO, in Norway. I have a passion to travel, listen to good music, and I enjoy learning and grasping knowledge as much as possible… especially when it comes to makeup artistry!

Why did you decide to become a professional makeup artist?

I decided to become a professional makeup artist because I’ve always wanted to make people smile. I’ve been in the service industry since 2012. Moreover, I used to work with customers in the aviation industry. During this time, I had to use and be familiar with a certain amount of makeup.

One fine day, out of the blue, my mother asked me to do her makeup. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but apparently she loved it! People around her loved her look and complimented her. Plus, she had the BIGGEST smile on her face! When I looked at her, I smiled, too. In that moment, I realized that if I could bring a smile onto the faces of others, I would get so much happiness in return. So, I decided to be a makeup artist!

Why did you decide to take online makeup classes, rather than enroll in a brick-and-mortar school?

Originally, I actually was looking for a brick-and-mortar school in Norway. But what I came across were schools that offered no in-depth courses. Moreover, their tuition was all extremely expensive, and the courses were only offered in a particular language.

I wanted something that was more global, as well as in the language which most people understood. While I was searching the internet, I came across celebrity makeup artist, Nathan Johnson. I quickly discovered that he’s the executive makeup instructor for QC Makeup Academy. As soon as I saw him, I recognized him from two seasons of Project Runway and thought “Why not learn from the master himself?”

For what other reasons did you choose to enroll in with QC Makeup Academy?

Firstly, QC Makeup Academy offers self-paced courses. Secondly, they also provide internationally-recognized makeup certifications. On top of that, many of QC’s courses provide starter makeup kits to aid in the students’ training. Personally, I LOVED the makeup kit I was given for the Master Makeup Artistry Course! Their eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lip, concealer, and corrector palette are all lovely.

Furthermore, QC Makeup Academy provides both digital and physical copies of their course materials, as well as instructional videos you can watch online. If I ever want to be clear in my approach to the looks I’m doing, I can always go back and refer to these resources. Plus, I also love that there’s a Virtual Classroom on Facebook where any and every question can be answered by fellow peers, Student Ambassador, QC staff, and tutors!

You’ve graduated from QC Makeup Academy’s Master Makeup Artistry Course. How was your experience with this program and how would you say it helped you to grow as an artist?

“Incredible” would be a very small word to describe my experience. This course not only made me grow as an artist; it made me more confident, both personally and professionally!

The feedback I received from my tutors was totally bang on. It was never sugar-coated, which I appreciated. Rather, it was always very honest; said to try and bring out the in me. Through my training, I learned the core, fundamental techniques of makeup. I know now that I could never have learned this knowledge from just watching social media influencers. To be a professional MUA, you need a professional education.

In what ways would you say that QC Makeup Academy’s Pro Makeup Workshop built upon the knowledge learned in the MMA Course and refined your skill-set further?

This workshop is a step ahead and delves deeper into the art of makeup. In the Master Makeup Artistry Course, you lean the core techniques of makeup. Then, in the Pro Makeup Workshop, you develop your technical skills with more precision and through cleaner looks. It’s all about detailing and experimenting with your applications.

You’re also a recent graduate of QC Makeup Academy’s Hair Styling Essentials Course. Why do you want to add hair styling to your repertoire? How do you intend to incorporate this advanced training into your makeup career?

Personally, I believe that if one knows how to do makeup and hairstyling, then that person is preferable. Such complementary skills will surely set you apart from the competition! Whether it’s a bridal appointment or a movie set, you’ll ALWAYS be the preferred choice in the eyes of a potential client.

Not only will this additional qualification help you expand your clientele; you’ll also have a better salary. You can even be the savior for a “hair gone wrong” emergency during a fashion shoot!

How useful have QC Makeup Academy’s course materials and assignments been for your learning experience?

All of the materials I’ve received have been super fun, educational, and detailed. Each course has been very easy to follow every step of the way, whether it’s related to makeup or hairstyling. In fact, I always go back to the written material and assignments when I create new looks. My QC course materials are like my comfort area.

How valuable has been the feedback been from your QC Makeup Academy tutors, Nathan Johnson and Corianne Cowan?

I would say that Nathan is like an encyclopedia of makeup knowledge! His feedback is always to-the-point and honest. If your work is good, he’ll totally compliment you on where your strong points are. On the other hand, if you need to improve, he won’t sugar-coat it. Instead, he’ll be upfront about where you need to get better.

In particular, his feedback was especially beneficial for me during Unit B of the MMA Course. Nathan is truly an eye-opener. His feedback and words of wisdom are always in my mind palace. I’d easily say that he’s one of the best educators I’ve ever met in my life!

With Corianne, it’s like you’re working and learning from an all-rounder who knows it all. She is so gentle and sweet! Plus, she’s always approachable on social media and ready to help, no matter what you’re facing. She’s always there to above and beyond; letting you try all hair styling techniques and whatever suits you best for your assignments.

In the end, I can say that QC Makeup Academy, Nathan, and Corianne are like my second family. I can’t live without them!

What are the most important lessons you’ve learned so far from your certification programs?

Balance and consistency (both in terms of clean looks and humbleness in work) will help you in achieving your goals. Never rush into things, and practice as much as possible! “Practice makes perfect” is what these programs have taught me!

You’ve recently joined QC’s team of Student Ambassadors. As an Ambassador, what’s the #1 thing you want brand-new students to know about QC Makeup Academy?

If you wish to build yourself both personally and professionally, want to get the best education, and wish to learn something new, QC Makeup Academy is the place for you! This is truly a school that will help you turn your passion into a profession, in a learning environment that’s entirely at YOUR own pace. QC makes dreams come true!

You’re located in Blystadlia, Norway. What has the COVID situation been like where you live? Has it affected the way you need to work as beauty professional? If so, how?

We are current in the second wave of COVID. Suddenly, the cases have increased. As a result, we’re in a partial lockdown wherein all malls and stores are closed. That being said, hair and beauty salons are allowed to remain open!

The beauty and personal care industry in Norway hasn’t changed much since 2019. Norwegians are typically affluent consumers who place a high degree of focus on appearance and personal care. Weddings and other such events are still happening. However, they can only have a maximum of 10 members present if it’s an indoor event. Because of this, many brides are either opting to do their own makeup, or they’re shifting their wedding dates.

But the fashion, movie, and television industries have not suffered as such. Moreover, the sale of cosmetics, haircare products, and skincare products have actually increased. This is, in part, because many social media influencers have increased the sales of eyeshadows and palettes.

What services do you currently offer your makeup clients?

Currently, I offer my clients makeup applications for day and night looks. For example, I offer ‘Deluxe Makeup’, which provides more attention to at least one focus point. I also teach a group makeup course (for a maximum of three people) that focuses on educating others on all the new medical and hygiene precautions/regulations out there. Recently, I’ve also been receiving a lot of male hairstyling clients in the salon where I work. I’m also a freelance MUA in this salon as well!

What are your top career goals as a makeup artist?

To be honest, my career goal is to provide the education and techniques I’ve learned to those who can’t afford professional training. I wish to be an educator to everyone who needs it! To achieve that, I wish to grasp as much education and knowledge as I can from every single sector of the makeup industry. In my eyes, you can never know too much!

I also have a dream of doing a makeup look with Nathan Johnson. I’d love to assist him in his work – even if it’s only for a few minutes!

Finally: In your opinion, what is the true secret of success as a makeup artist?

Without a good education, patience, and practice, one can never reach up to their goals in life. To have success as a makeup artist, one must have balance and maintain all three!

Reacting to My Tutor’s Feedback for My Online Makeup Course!

By #ThrowbackThursday, About the School, Education, QC Student Ambassador 4 Comments

Want to enroll in an online makeup course? Dream of becoming a professionally trained MUA? QC Makeup Academy‘s self-paced, online Master Makeup Artistry Course can help you kick-start your career in as little as 3-6 months! Your tutor will be a real industry professional. Moreover, this tutor will provide you with extensive audio feedback after EVERY unit! Thus, you’ll learn exactly where your strengths are – as well as where you need to improve!

Want a better idea of the sort of feedback you’ll be receiving?

Current student, Jordan Garcia, is here to share some of the feedback he received from his tutor, Nathan Johnson, after submitting Unit B!

Jordan’s Tutor Feedback for Unit B of His Online Makeup Course

Jordan is a current student of the following QC Makeup Academy online makeup courses:

Last summer, Jordan submitted his second unit of the MMA Course. Now, for those of you who don’t know, Unit B is considered one of the most challenging sections of this certification program! Needless to say, Jordan was definitely anxious to have his tutor – celebrity makeup artist, Nathan Johnson – review his work!

Lucky for us, Jordan is here not only to share some of the feedback and constructive critiques he received from Nathan… He’s also going to react to it and provide his thoughts in hindsight!

Watch the full video below!

Let’s Recap!

Why is Unit B of the Master Makeup Artistry Course so important? In a nutshell, here’s how Nathan summarizes the purpose of this second unit:

This is an amazing unit because within it, we start to go through all the individual techniques of master makeup artistry! When you put your time into mastering them, when you really understand them inside and out, you become capable of anything... because at the end of the day, whatever it is you want to make in makeup, it always comes down to combinations of basic techniques. Master them and they can be assembled into anything!

Nathan JohnsonQC Makeup Academy executive makeup instructor and celebrity MUA

So, how was Jordan’s feedback for Unit B of this online makeup course? Nathan has some very positive things to say about Jordan’s progress and strengths. In particular, he praises Jordan’s ability to ‘perfect the skin’, as well as his conceal and correcting skills.

At the same time, he also breaks down each component of Jordan’s hands-on work and points out where improvements still need to be made. Specifically, Nathan discusses what can be bettered when it comes to basic eyeshadow application and wedge eyeliner.

Hands-down, though, the BEST part about Nathan’s feedback is how motivating and supportive it is! Not only does he acknowledge and congratulate Jordan on his hard work; Nathan aims to push Jordan further by reminding him (as always) that he has it in him to succeed, and that he is always there to help Jordan however he can.

Talk about a loving, encouraging learning environment!

Breaking Down My Makeup Portfolio

By Career Advice, QC Student Ambassador 6 Comments

Building your makeup portfolio for the first time and need some tips for getting started? QC Makeup Academy‘s Student Ambassador, Paula Alleyne, is here to help!

Paula is a graduate of QC’s Master Makeup Artistry Course. Her business, PAULA MONIQUE, specializes in bridal, editorial, and special occasions makeup. Connect with Paula directly in the QC Virtual Classroom on Facebook!

The Importance of Your Makeup Portfolio

A makeup portfolio is a snapshot of some of your greatest work. It should represent you and allow potential clients to see your capabilities. Portfolios can typically come in 2 forms:

  1. A physical portfolio,
  2. Or an online one.

Physical vs. Online Portfolios

Before the world went digital, having a great physical portfolio book was essential. An MUA’s physical makeup portfolio contained tear sheets of any magazine publications of their work. It also contained high-quality printed images of their artistry in photoshoots. It wasn’t uncommon for a physical portfolio to have a section with business cards, too. This way, you could easily distribute them when you met with possible clients.

In today’s age, however, physical portfolios are not the only thing that’s required. You also need to have an online presence! With the click of mouse, potential clients from all across the world can access and view your work. Online makeup portfolios can typically be seen on an MUA’s social media pages and/or business website.

While we absolutely urge you to post your original work on social media platforms, remember that having a professional business website is always recommend! After all, a polished website will give off that professional edge you’re looking for when portraying your work.

Demonstrating Your Skills

Your makeup portfolio is also a great way to demonstrate your versatility as an artist. This is because the shots you showcase will display varying styles and techniques you’ve mastered. Just keep in mind that showcasing too much variety can be a recipe for disaster. You never want to lose your identity! Similarly, you never want to mask a dominant style that best represents you.

Your portfolio images should not confuse potential clients. When they look at your portfolio, they should quickly become aware of what distinguishes YOU from the competition. A makeup portfolio is one of the major factors that’ll draw in potential clients. Once drawn in, they’ll be more likely to book with you. In turn, they’ll likely share your work (and their positive experience with you) with people they know.

Thus, a solid makeup portfolio ensures that a chain of employment opportunities is created!

4 Tips for Your Makeup Portfolio

When building your makeup portfolio, there are a few tips you can follow:

1 – Only use high-quality professional images.

During your certification training with QC Makeup Academy, you’ll discover the difference between professional and unprofessional photos. For example, a candid picture taken with your mobile device is often times not a photo you’ll want to place within your makeup portfolio. Such photos may be appropriate for a social media account. If the photo – in any way – gives viewers a more personal and/or daily work-life experience of you as the makeup artist, it’s NOT the type of imagery that should be displayed in your portfolio selection.

Want some more tips for taking/choosing the BEST photos for your makeup portfolio? Keep reading here!

2 – Be patient.

Building a portfolio with quality imagery takes time. Some professional artists state that a minimum of three years is what took for them to build a solid professional makeup portfolio. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to perfect your portfolio too quickly. Otherwise, you’ll be setting yourself up for unnecessary disappointment.

3 – Network with other industry professionals.

One really smart way to build your portfolio is to network with other professionals in your area. Just as you’re an upcoming makeup artist, there are plenty of upcoming photographers who are looking to develop their own portfolios. Collaborations are a great way for you to gain professionally-captured images, while also meeting and forging relationships with other people within your industry. Such collaborations may even transform into long-term partnerships and/or employment as the vendor develops his or her career.

4 – Reflect who you are in your makeup portfolio.

If you’re a makeup artist who loves clean beauty, let that shine through in your portfolio! If you gravitate more towards avant-garde looks, then when people view your makeup portfolio, they should clearly be able to see you as an artist who loves bold, colorful creations.

A Look Into My Makeup Portfolio

As a makeup artist, my personal style is natural beauty. I love naturally enhanced creations for bridal and editorial shoots. The following are some of the images which best represent me as an artist…

Paula Alleyne makeup portfolio wedding image 1
PHOTO CREDIT – Photographer: Rommel Alleyne / Makeup Artist: Paula Alleyne / Model: Bethany Pile of Casting Barbados / Bridal Designer: Jaye Applewaite / Hair Stylist: Tina Burrow of Déjà vu Salon / Diamond Distributor: Diamonds International Barbados / Jewelry Designer: Sonia King of SRK Designs / Lighting Assist: Akinwole Jordan / Venue: Barbados St. James Parish Church

As you can see, this wedding photo is elegant and soft (which ties back in with the overall theme). My model’s dress, hairstyle, and location are very much princess-themed. Moreover, the goal was for her makeup application to be enhanced enough that it defines her features, while remaining soft for the theme.

Paula wedding photo 2

Now take a look at this wedding photo, which has a more defined smoky eye. The aim of this application was to utilize the smoky eye technique in a manner which defined the client’s eyes. However, the look still needed to remained soft enough to be suitable for a wedding.

Paula Alleyne makeup portfolio image 3 editorial
PHOTO CREDIT – Photographer: Rommell Alleyne / Makeup Artist: Paula Alleyne

I particularly love this editorial photo! It enhances the talent’s rich, brown tones. Creating natural beauty images for editorial work requires a level of technical ability, as well as a fine balance.

On the one hand, you must apply enough makeup for the camera to pick up on it. But on the other hand, you also need to make sure there’s not too much product buildup. Otherwise, the look won’t appear natural. Furthermore, an application of various shades of brown can easily look like one wash of color, rather than creating slight definitions around the eye.

Age-appropriate makeup application for photoshoot
PHOTO CREDIT – Photographer: Rommell Alleyne / Makeup Artist: Paula Alleyne

Finally, this last photo is a great age-appropriate shot. My client had turned 16. As a minor, her makeup application had to ensure that she was still recognizable, while not appearing overly mature. At the same time, the makeup still needed to be prominent enough to enhance her beautiful features.

Why Professional Training Makes for a Better Makeup Portfolio

Getting professionally trained in makeup artistry is a guaranteed way to enhance your skill level. By extension, it’ll also elevate the creation of your makeup portfolio. Remember: anyone who looks at your portfolio should be able to easily notice your level of skill and technique. By enrolling in QC Makeup Academy’s online certification courses, you’ll gain all the knowledge and mastery needed to reflect this advanced skill-set in your work!

QC offers great advice on building your makeup portfolio. This is particularly the case in their Portfolio Development Workshop. In this 2-unit program, you’ll learn the difference between a professional versus an unprofessional image. Moreover, you’ll learn the ins and outs of building your professional network. As we touched on earlier, establishing your network will only benefit your portfolio development in the long run.

If you dream of becoming a professional makeup artist, I strongly recommend checking out this online school. QC’s education will not only develop your technical ability; it’ll teach you all about industry practices and standards, too. In addition to this, you’ll get regular constructive critiques from your tutor(s). Plus, your course materials will provide you a wealth of knowledge on:

  • Dealing with facial corrections;
  • Learning eye and facial shapes;
  • Color theory;
  • Identifying skin types;
  • Starting (and running) a successful business;
  • And so much more!

Amanda now has several internationally-recognized certifications under her belt and is an absolute makeup artistry wizard!

Let’s Recap!

Amanda’s Experience Becoming a Multiple Amputee

At the age of 23, Amanda fell ill. Gradually, things took a turn for the worse, with Amanda’s body falling into septic shock. In order to stop things from progressing any further, Amanda underwent several surgeries to remove both of her legs below the knee, as well as the majority of her fingers. After spending a month and a half in the hospital, Amanda then spent another 4-5 months at home recovering – and even re-learning how to walk!

Prior to her amputations, Amanda worked as a professional tattoo artist. Despite everyone (including doctors) telling her that she’d never be able to continue this job again, Amanda refused to believe this. Through perseverance and determination, Amanda learned to adapt; to approach her crafts in a new way, in order to continue doing the things she loves best. As a result, she’s still a professional tattoo artist to this very day – defying the odds and proving all those who said she couldn’t do it wrong.

Becoming a Makeup Artist

Shortly after the birth of her newborn, Amanda started dabbling in makeup. Lo and behold, what began as nothing more than a hobby quickly turned into something more! Amanda quickly discovered that she had a natural talent for makeup artistry and wished to get a true education in it. But with her full-time job and busy schedule as a parent, in-person classes wouldn’t be an option. So, she researched into online schools… and found QC Makeup Academy!

  • Moreover, she also found that QC Makeup Academy has the best reviews;

Amanda now has the following certifications/certificates under her belt:

First Thing’s First: What IS a Makeup Artist?

Professional makeup artists are industry experts who work with the face (and body) as a medium. As an MUA, you can apply makeup on others for:

  • Special occasions (i.e. weddings, proms, graduations, baby showers, etc.);
  • Theater;
  • Television;
  • Film;
  • Fashion;
  • Magazines;
  • Other productions (i.e. aspects of the modeling industry);
  • And more!

Is Professional Makeup Artistry Training Necessary?

In my opinion, professional training is very necessary in the world of makeup artistry. A client will always want to hire a makeup artist who’s been educated and certified! After all, these qualifications provide reassurance that they’re booking someone who can truly give them the results they want.

Moreover, you want to be a makeup artist who thoroughly understands skin, color correcting, proper technique, and all those little tips and tricks that’ll take your applications from good to great. With these skills to arm you, you’re definitely going to be more in-demand for any and all clients – especially when compared to competition who doesn’t have your level of training.

Another benefit of getting professionally trained is that you’ll have an internationally-recognized, reputable certification to add to your resume. As a result, you’ll be able to obtain more clients, have a much stronger skill-set, and gain a competitive edge over other MUAs in your area. Plus, this education will boost your income, as you’ll have the education needed to set your professional business standard!

So, are you ready to get the ball rolling and enroll in a makeup course? If so, I’m here to tell you that ALL of these goals are achievable with QC Makeup Academy!

Why I Enrolled with QC Makeup Academy

As a woman who already had a passion for makeup, I decided it was time to up my game. I was a Service Industry worker for years, but I wanted to switch gears. Professional makeup artistry was really appealing to me. So, I began my search. Not long ago, I wound up seeing an ad on Facebook for QC Makeup Academy and it piqued my interest!

I was curious as to how I could get this education by attending a school online. But after reading all the reviews saying how amazing QC’s education was, I was sold. What really caught my attention was that through QC Makeup Academy, I could complete my training on my own schedule. They even had easy, affordable payment options that fit right into my budget!

Why Did I Pick the Master Makeup Artistry Course?

QC Makeup Academy offered a wide variety of courses suitable for ALL levels of experience. Since I’d never been trained in this field before, I wanted a certification program that would teach me everything from the ground up. The Master Makeup Artistry Course was the exact solution I was looking for!

This 7-unit program will teach you all the theory and proper techniques you could possibly want to know. Moreover, you’ll learn how to apply makeup for theater, film and television, weddings, unique fictional characters, and more.  Once you enroll, you’ll be paired with a legit industry expert who will be your individual tutor. After each unit, this tutor will examine your work and provide you with extensive audio feedback to help you get better and grow as an artist!

Additional Perks

Another reason I wanted to take this course? There’s a full unit at the end, all about business training! As I knew I’d want to start my own makeup business, this unit was essential to my learning experience. It was also important to me that upon graduation, I would receive an actual certification for my resume. Luckily, the Master Makeup Artistry Course gives you just that! Once you’ve completed the program (and paid for it in full), you’ll be sent a physical copy of QC’s Master International Makeup Professional certification.

Community and networking opportunities were also things I was looking for, too. So, guess how excited I was when I discovered that QC also offers a free Virtual Classroom on Facebook for current, past, and prospective students? In the Virtual Classroom, I am lucky enough to connect with my fellow peers and together, we help one another succeed in our journeys.

I am proud to say that I’ve since graduated from the Master Makeup Artistry Course. If you’ve read this far, then you’re in luck – because I’m now going to give you my honest review of this program (as well as QC in general)!

My Review of the Master Makeup Artistry Course

My Personal Highlights of the Program

First, let me start by reiterating that I LOVE QC Makeup Academy! My tutor was Pat Armstrong. I found her to be so sweet and extremely helpful. Pat has worked with the National Women’s Show, Lise Watier, and Shiseido.  Her clients include Steven Harper and Olympic Gold Medalist, Elizabeth Manley. Pat’s breakdown and critique of my work were always really informative and helped me understand exactly what I needed to improve along the way.

When I enrolled in the Master Makeup Artistry Course, I not only got a digital copy of all my course materials – I was mailed a physical copy, too. These materials included all of my booklets and a high-quality makeup kit! Each book was extremely informative! Furthermore, the fun, educational videos hosted by the lovely Nathan Johnson were perfect learning tools. Nathan is a gem. He shows you exactly how the look should be applied, with a few little personal tips thrown in.

Another awesome perk is that even though the course is done online, there are TONS of practical assignments that give you critical hands-on training. I found this hands-on learning to be especially exceptional. Of all my assignments, my favorite one was the Stylized Shoot. I chose to do a makeup application for a 50’s-style bridal photoshoot. It was so much fun because we had to style the entire model from head to toe! I used my old wedding dress, did a classic red lip, and shot it in front of our old piano. I was over the moon with how this assignment turned out!

3 Important Lessons I Learned In My Training

Throughout the course of my program, 3 lessons I learned that I found to be especially important were:

  • If you have to second-guess your work, it’s not ready to submit.
  • Use quality products for the best results.
  • Many of your products can actually have multiple different uses.

3 Key Lessons I DIDN’T Know Before Taking the Master Makeup Artistry Course

  • Less can often be more. For example: applying eyeliner with a dark powder and an angled brush along the lash line can open an eye, without it being overpowering. Sometimes, that’s all you need to have a wide-awake-looking eye!
  • Eyebrows are meant to be sisters, not twins.
  • Sometimes, all a client needs are to balance their complexion – instead of covering the entire face with foundation.

Remember: You’ll Get What You Put Into It

Here’s the honest truth: no, the Master Makeup Artistry Course isn’t easy. It’s not meant to be! Rather, it’s designed to push you. It’ll force you to evaluate your work objectively, practice over and over again, and be your own biggest critic. In the world of professional makeup, this is the ONLY way you for to learn properly and maximize your chances for success!

Personally, I found all of my assignments to be quite challenging. However, that only ever reiterated to me that I’d picked the right school and the right course. After all, you shouldn’t want your training to be basic and easy! This course will challenge you, but in a good way. It’ll give you every tip and trick taught by industry professionals. This way, you’ll have the best education possible. You’ll be prepared to be the BEST makeup artist you can be!

So, Should YOU Enroll in QC’s Master Makeup Artistry Course?

100% YES!

I absolutely encourage you to join QC Makeup Academy and enroll in this course if you’re considering a professional education in makeup artistry. Even if you’re already an established MUA, I recommend this school. Maybe you don’t yet have formal training. Perhaps you do but want to build upon your existing skill-set. Either way, QC will offer you something to better your craft!

In my experience, the Master Makeup Artistry Course can truly help you level up your game. This is because it’ll give you the proper tips and techniques needed to become an even better MUA. I’m so happy I chose QC Makeup Academy. This school has allowed me to start my career on the right track. In fact, I have plans to add even more QC courses to my repertoire in the future!
