However, setting your own deadlines is the best way to ensure you\u2019re making progress with your online classes.\n\nDecide when you want to graduate from your online makeup class. Then figure out when you need to be done each unit to do so! Have a look at what\u2019s coming up on your calendar. Whether it is work events or family parties, make sure you set deadlines that fit with your life.\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Focus_on_one_task_at_a_time\"><\/span>3. Focus on one task at a time<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\nThis is a critical time management skill! Don\u2019t believe the myth that multitasking is going to help you get more done. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.health.com\/health\/gallery\/0,,20707868,00.html#it-s-slowing-you-down-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">That\u2019s totally not true<\/a>! From now on, focus on one task at a time. Don\u2019t try to do your makeup assignment on your friend while also trying to study for your math test. Make habits<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\nIf you start doing the above tips (and the next ones), you\u2019re going to start creating habits. It\u2019s said that habits are formed after three weeks of consistency. So, keep it up for three weeks! Get an early start<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\nWe all need our beauty sleep. Getting up a little early doesn\u2019t mean you won\u2019t get yours! Try to head to bed at a reasonable time, and wake up early. You should be aiming for 7 to 9 hours of rest.\n\nBy waking up a bit earlier, you\u2019ll be making more time in your day to complete tasks. If you don\u2019t have work until noon, don\u2019t sleep until 11:30AM! Wake up at a good time (that works for you), and fit in some course material from your online makeup class.\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Eliminate_distractions\"><\/span>6. Eliminate distractions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\nGetting rid of distractions equals more productive work time. Figure out what distracts you, whether it\u2019s Netflix, books, your kids\u2026 et cetera. Find time to walk away from distractions during the time you\u2019ve scheduled for your studies. You\u2019ll find that you\u2019re much more productive and will get more done in a shorter amount of time.\n\nThe best way to have distraction-free time is to find a designated workspace. It can be anywhere from a desk in your living room to a bench at your local park! But make it only about productivity. That means it should be clutter free and away from electronics. If you find silent spaces unnerving, take your course work to a buzzing caf\u00e9! Otherwise, the library is a reliable space.\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Take_time_to_breathe\"><\/span>7. Take time to breathe<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\nYou may be busy, but you\u2019re entire life doesn\u2019t have to be \u201cgo, go, go!\u201d Make sure you take some time to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qcmakeupacademy.com\/2015\/03\/top-tips-stress-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">manage your stress<\/a> and <em>breathe<\/em>. Find some relaxing activities that will fit into your schedule; like yoga or jogging! This way, you aren\u2019t constantly on the go with balancing life and your online makeup class.\n\nIf organized activities aren\u2019t really your thing, that\u2019s okay! Still take time to breathe and step back from all your work from time to time. You could take a bath, go on a walk, or read a book \u2013 anything really! Figure out when the most stressful moments were and <em>why<\/em>. Sorting this out will prepare you for the weeks to come. You should also spend some time reviewing what you\u2019ve learned. The best way ensure you\u2019ve actually absorbed it is to go over it again.\n\nAfter reviewing your study habits, stick to the things that worked in the past, and get rid of what didn\u2019t. You\u2019ll become much more efficient at getting things done by really focusing on what works!\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"9_Commit_to_your_plan\"><\/span>9. Commit to your plan<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\nOnce you\u2019ve mastered all these hacks&#8230; stick to them! Commit to the plans you made and deadlines you set. Keep your routines going! You have to commit to succeed.
