Makeup by Brittany - Body Shop Favorites!

With spring in the air, it’s nice to take a look at what we are using makeup and skincare-wise and maybe re-evaluate what we want from our products. I recently did a mini haul at The Body Shop and I wanted to share some of my favorites. One of which is a staple in my vanity and two of which are brand new finds!

First off is a brand new product, the Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil. I am such an oil junkie, I love it to hydrate and cleanse both face and body. This product is simply lovely. I have been using it as a serum but I do feel it is hydrating enough to be used on its own for those with oily skin. With that being said it is very non-greasy and fast-absorbing. For those that don’t know, a serum is used as somewhat of a base for your cream. It creates a soft hydrated surface for the moisturizer to really seep in and work to its full potential. Usually, serums have a treatment focus, whether it be for dark spots, anti-aging, brightening, etc. In this case, it is an overnight treatment working to replenish and recharge the skin. The serum-in-oil has a soft gentle fragrance, perfect for nighttime. Not to mention the packaging is super pretty. With its matte pale pink bottle and oil dropper applicator—it also looks darling sitting in my skincare tray.

Next up, one of my all-time favorite body butters! The Body Shop’s Body Butter made the list as one of my favorites for its texture. It’s super-rich and creamy but also lightweight, “melting” into the skin. My favorite scent is Mango (as my husband says it smells like fruity cake) but there are so many delish scents to choose from. Personally, I go through body butter like it’s going-outta-style so I always buy the jumbo bottle…

Last but not least a new lipstick line from the Body Shop called Color Crush. I was perusing through the lipsticks when I came across the pretty packaging and popping colors that I couldn’t resist. The promise with these lipsticks is high-impact color, rich moisture, and infused with a subtle rose scent. After using the product I have to say, they are delivering on their promise! I grabbed #205, a super bright coral pink—I just love it!

All in all, I would highly recommend trying these products and switching up your skin and makeup routine a little for spring/summer!

The Body Shop Products are AMAZING, and a little extra on top of all your wonderful advise the lipsticks also don’t bleed. I have the entire range in my kit and I am yet to find someone it bleeds on. The colours are great as all the products you have listed.
    Great Read Thank you Brittany
